Hola! My name is Samuel Burgueño and I am SUPER excited to be at Bozman Intermediate.  I will be teaching the Bilingual 6th grade Mathematics, but more than that I hope to make a positive impact in my students lives.

This year we will be doing alot of FUN activities that will help us engage and explore the new student expectactions from the State of Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS).  We will dive into understanding why math works the way it does, so that we can develop a strong foundation.

A little about me:

My favorite superhero of all time is Superman :)
I was born in Mexico, and my first school year in the United States was 5th grade.
I have a son, Samuel Giovanni, who we call "Gio" and he is my little superhero, who I love with all my heart and very very soon around September 25th, we will meet our new baby boy, Daniel Ricardo, another little angel sent down from heaven.
My wife, Fatima, teaches at Austin Elementary, and we have been married for almost 7 years.
I have been teaching Mathematics for 5 years.
I graduated from Sam Houston State University in December of 2007.

Announcements:
Looking forward to seeing you this new school year!!!
