Homework:

Students have a weekly reading log that is passed out on Monday and due on Friday. Students are expected to read 85-100 minutes a week. There are many opportunities for students to read throughout the school day to get credit for their reading minutes. Students are able to borrow books from my classroom that are on an appropriate reading level for them. Also, students check out books from the library. If you have the chance to read with your student-that is FANTASTIC!!! Students need to hear how adults can model quality reading. Thank you!
